My daughter and son-in-law's wedding was recently held in Iowa City, IA at the Iowa Memorial Union. All moms and stepmom were out of town, and we were the wedding planners! At the time, the wedding was about three months away. I read through all the Yelp reviews of floral designers and florists in Iowa City. The first florist I contacted notified me that they were booked that day, but recommended Flowers by Jacqueline. I called and spoke to the owner, Jackie, for quite a while. My brother, who lives out of state, has ordered floral arrangements for delivery to our mom in Iowa City on several occasions. It's always been a pleasure doing business with Jacqueline, her family, and staff.Without exception, the arrangements have been absolutely stunning. They were very professionally designed and executed, and comprised of fresh, gorgeous, excellent quality, high value flowers which stayed fresh far longer than any arrangements I have ever seen.They secured our loyalty as customers the first time we worked with them. The flowers were beautiful when they arrived, but the order I placed online did not get communicated well with the delivery person Annalise. They had the wrong home address written on the envelope and arrived after 3:30 so no one was available to answer the door. I requested a delivery between 1 and 2:30 more than 24 hours before, so the flowers could not be left (that's their policy ) and they would not deliver to an alternate office location nearby. I live more than three hours away or I would have picked them up but that was the point of paying extra for delivery. The bottom line is the recipient thought they were beautiful.
