My 8 year old Cavchon had stopped eating, drank rarely, and was very lethargic for about 3 days. After I called the clinic, I was able to get in immediately. Dr. Young and her technician, Hailey were every way kind and compassionate, both with me and my dog. The medication that was prescribed worked very well and Hailey even sat down with me to discuss how to best administer it. Each time we have gone to Petersen's Pet Hospital we have always been treated wonderfully, from the front desk check-in personnel to Dr. Young and Hailey. It is very obvious that they care about the animals they treat. I would highly recommend their services.

Everyone at the office was very kind. The important thing was the knowledge they have was very great. I would highly suggest that you visit them and see for yourself. A great place!

Fantastic staff and the care is 100%! I have never had such wonderful care annd anttention for my pets- and all the doctors & staff are always going above and beyond to make any experience we have had both affordable and good for both myself and my animals. I have both cats and a dog that see the doctors here. In my opinion, this is the BEST veterinary hospital in and around the Cedar Rapids area! They look out for deals on medications- they will offer alternatives if cost is an issue and I really believe they LOVE working with animals. I won’t go anywhere else. You also won’t find Friendlier/Kinder/more Patient staff at ANY office. I switched vets after 13 years... read full review
