Sub contractors beware! After wasting days on estimates, working on numbers, trying build a relationship and even after signed and agreed contracts with them, They then found the cheap guy to come in and do the work we were contracted for. Very unprofessional Company.

Portzen was contracted to renovate the main road in our downtown district. They’ve done nothing but cause problems. Everything from railroad crossings too narrow for snowplows to get through, to street corners that jut out into the main roadway so bad pedestrians were hit. It would appear no one can read a blueprint, or their engineers are toddlers. Alley exits aren’t centered, sidewalk lines are crooked. Just a general all around mess. But the main one for me, they caused a fire in my building due to negligence. They were not using water on a concrete saw designed to use water to cool the blade. And it sent errant sparks into a coal tunnel below causing a fire that...read full review
