Great Clips in Des Moines provides affordably priced haircuts for men, women, and children. They offer a variety of services, including haircuts, beard trims, bang trims, and shampooing. The salon is open during evenings and weekends, and walk-ins are welcome or customers can check-in online to skip the wait. The stylists are polite and professional, skilled at cutting children's hair, and can provide advice on hairstyles. They are patient and gentle, as seen when they accommodated a customer by fixing a haircut that was previously done at a different location. The stylists, such as Alison and Christy, are true professionals, providing great service, including back-to-school haircuts with fun layers, and are amazing with kids, making them feel comfortable during haircuts.
We have been here a handful of times for our two boys.
- Julie always cuts my son's mullet and has him on point
-LET ME TELL YOY ABOUT TODAY'S EXPERIENCE...
Today Krisi cut my 12 year old's hair for the first time and 12/10! My son has autism and after his haircut, he thanked Kristi and said how good his haircut looked. He has never liked haircuts and always complained afterwards. No matter how good it looks. Kristi took her time to listen to my son, ask questions and blended his hair seamlessly.
Highly recommended.

I took my 3 year old son with me for the first time for a haircut. Alison and Bret were so accommodating. They set everything up so we could get our haircuts at the same time sitting next to each other. My son did so well.. Alison was very patient and engaging with him.. he was smiling the entire time. Bret had great conversation, and turned the chair so I could check on William as needed. I really cherished that time. Thank you both so much!
