I've been getting my cuts at Ferg's By Lucy ever since Bruce retired, and I can confidently say Lucy is the real deal. She brings precision, professionalism, and a warm vibe that makes every visit feel personal. Lucy nails the details and makes you feel like a priority—not just another appointment.

The shop’s atmosphere is clean, welcoming, and full of character. Plus, she’s great at accommodating busy schedules, which is clutch. If you want quality service with a smile (and maybe a good convo while you're in the chair), Lucy's your go-to. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-tier barber in Des Moines.

Was hesitant at first because Asian hair is very different from your typical Anglo hair, but the lady that works there did a fantastic job! I showed her a picture of what I wanted as well as described what I wanted and she did a perfect job. I would recommend giving them a call if you’re planning on arriving after 4pm to make sure someone will be there.
