I post because I lived on 30th st and walked to Kirkwood grade school around 1955 and wondering is this the same barber shop from that time frame. Kirkwood was where Clark jogged around Drake stadium. Use to sneak in the Drake Relays. Could not afford ticket. For kids at 10 cents n thanks for memories Roger.

Walked in for a haircut and immediately knew this was the spot. Dave was very friendly for the entire time. Talked about the history of the drake neighborhood and gave me exactly what I was looking for. Wish I would’ve come in sooner!Service: Haircut

Excellent old-school barber shop. Been going there for years for myself and my kids and every haircut Dave has given us has been done well, professionally, and in a friendly way. He always remembers our names and what we talked about last time... A nice personal touch. Highly recommended!
