I highly recommend Amy Burg, owner and operator of Rootz in Decorah IA. I have never had any complaints in the many years I have been her client. She is timely and conscientious and enjoyable to chat with. Her salon is always tidy and cheerful.

Tens across the board! Amy is the best hair stylist I’ve been to in such a long time and by the far the best in Decorah. No one comes close. I always change my mind on what I want to do with my hair and Amy is always on board and ready to accomplish my hair goals! Not only is she amazing at hair but she’s easy to talk to and will make anyone feel welcomed! You will never regret going to Amy for your hair appointment!
Amy is the absolute BEST! She is great at giving feedback on styles, encourages taking risks, supports personal decisions and is perfection on execution. She has a great eye and understands hair and texture. Maybe Amy’s most impressive trait however, is her personality and positive attitude! She is hilarious, loyal, smart, kind and genuine. My time with Amy is my most sacred time and I always love the results, both personally and aesthetically! I would give her 10 stars if I could!
