Great selection and prices, especially for microgreens. Just watch out for the big guy with the dark hair and glasses. If you look at the plants too close, he might make a point to come over and tell you your hands are dirty. I was shocked, to be honest. I was only taking the plants I was touching, with the intent of putting it in my hydroponic station at home to eat. I politely told him this, and he frantically insisted he go get tweezers. I made him aware I was already finished and he continued to say more. I walked away to get help from part-time grade school teacher that was helpful and kind. Everything other than that single employee was a great experience. We will be back for more microgreens with the hopes of less scrutiny.

I enjoyed going to this business, they carry nice yard tools, and plants. On top of this Awesomeness, there is a beautiful motorcycle being sold on the premise by the owner of the company. This is a place that I would recommend!

I asked to speak to someone about buying a couple of trees. The guy asked what I needed to know. When I told him I wanted to find out about fast growing shade trees he told me they prefer people do their own research and his tree guy was on break. Wow. Thanks a bunch. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

This is by far the best place to buy plants (house/garden/landscape). Although smaller on scale, to me that is a good thing. The customer service is on point and they are so knowledgeable. It doesn’t feel like a “job” to them. I have always had such a pleasant experience. I’ve also had the best sustainability with my purchases. And one more thing, Native Plant lovers/supporters this is your place.

After supporting this local, small business multiple times, we will not be returning. My 5 year old son accidentally knocked over a flower pot and they charged me $55 for it. I’m a single mother and explained to them that I didn’t have the money to pay for it. We had to put all of the flowers and plants back that we had picked out, and pay for the flower pot that he accidentally broke. My son was pushing the cart when he bumped into the flower pot. He was right next to me and he was not running around or messing around. I apologized and my son was crying. He felt so bad. At the end, they still charged us the full amount. After playing phone tag with the owner for a couple weeks, his only offer was to give me half back in-store credit only. I appreciate that, however that’s not going to give me back $55 for bills. He also made comments like “maybe your son shouldn’t be pushing a cart.” The owner was very unsympathetic. Unfortunately after this terrible experience, we will not be going back and I do not recommend them. Especially if you have young children that have accidents. I will be searching for a new local small business greenhouse to support.

I had been looking for a special kind of arbor vitae (DeGroots spire) for almost 3 years. Andrew not only found 11 of them for me, but took care of them on site (after buying them, of course) until I could arrange to plant them. He and his staff are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

This place is phenomenal! Soo cool! They grow everything there and on another farm here in Davenport. We had so much fun going through their store and seeing their operation. They also have some really fun soaps and local items. Really a fun place to stop by and check out.

I am very impressed with this place. Not only do they have excellent customer service but they also offer a wide range of products and solutions for all types of customers. The place is beautiful and they also have an excellent website where you can order online.
