I've been looking for a new barber after two retired on me. I retired as well. I wandered into the Great Clips in Coralville and I am a bit suspect of hair chains. Pleasantly surprised. Nancy gave me the best haircut I've had in quite a while and I will be back. I have a double crown and kind of funny hair in general but she did well.
I usually get a great haircut at my Great Clips, my last one was not. I just wanted a small amount taken off. She didn’t take much off, but I can’t do a thing with my hair. I’d go back, but I don’t want to pay full price for another haircut.
My mom, 89 years old had the best experience with Kristine the general manager. My mom has had fusions in her neck and back making it difficult to use a salon bowl to get her hair washed. Kristine went well above and beyond to get her washed. Mom’s hair is very thin and past her shoulders. “Just do something” was my mom’s request. Kristine jokingly said do you like my hair cut? Mom said yes. It was a joy to see 2 sassy ladies laugh until they almost cried. Thank you Kristine for such a wonderful experience. See the twins below.
