We contracted with Meints Construction Builders to build are new home on the south shore of Clear Lake, in a very tight location with narrow access roads. It is a 4-story home with two stories below grade and two above, two large decks, a patio at lake level, a large office, bar, beautiful kitchen and 9-person movie theater. Cabinetry and woodwork are Alder and Walnut. Ron Loudenburg and his team at Meints Construction Builders performed to exceed out expectations and did just that. The finished product matches the interior designer’s concepts, and we have a sensational home. MCB performed the rough and finish carpentry and coordinated a true team of subcontractors for all the trades involved. Their attention to detail was perfect. We discovered our water heater had leaked overnight and spent the day calling around for plumbing mechanics while also dealing with the water damage and tearing up carpet. We received vague price estimates and wait times of nearly three weeks before finally calling Burtness-Lundgren. Someone was able to inspect it that day (turns out we would need a special unit) and they delivered the new water heater only two days later. The end price was exactly what they had guaranteed at inspection. Their professionalism and expertise were extremely appreciated!

Design Studio is the best place in North Iowa to get a haircut. Dana takes the time to listen, and always gives top quality haircuts. Along with outstanding cosmetology skills, Dana is an awesome person to talk to during the appointment. Design Studio carries amazing products as well. My favorite is the Lisn Farm to Fashion Shampoo, which is made from farm fresh ingredients. I will continue going here for my haircuts!

Dr Sorensen is the Best dentist in town! Everyone, from the front desk ladies to the dental assistant and hygienists, are all great! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a dentist office!

Shea and his team do a great job! I've had a massage with Shea and Noah and both were great. My hips and hamstrings bother me often and always feel better after a massage from them. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a deep tissue massage.

Moving from a large city to rural Iowa had a few drawbacks, one of them being the lack of organic anything (which seems surprising for a farming area) and holistic care. One certified functional medicine doctor in the entire Northern half of the state? Sigh. But I have found this to be a lovely shop, the owner knowledgeable and the supplies useful. Her loose leaf herbs are very reasonable and she carries the typical holistic lineup of supplements. From Magnesium to Elderberry, this is my new go-to and my attempt to choose local over Amazon. Absolutely stellar business from the time we called for a visit with BB to the time of installation.....always a call or email to let us know when they would be arriving....the salesman and installation personnel were great to work with.....great instructions given to us on how to use remote control which was a suggestion we may be interested in and we are so happy for that.......
It's the CLEANEST salon there is and the beds are amazing, with many to choose from. They constantly change there bulbs and do regular maintenance on them to make sure you get the best quality tan. I love tanning here❤️

I took my son to this establishment for his 18th bday gift. He wanted a tattoo. The appt process was easy. The staff were all very friendly. The shop itself is decorated in a very unique fashion.
