Jamie Johnston is a highly skilled cosmetologist with exceptional interpersonal skills. I confidently recommend her services for all hair styling needs, as she demonstrates expertise in creating diverse hairstyles for men, women, and children.
I've been coming here to Jamie for years. Sadly, I moved away from Iowa last year, but I come to have jamie cut my hair every time I'm home visiting, like I was today. She listens, communicates clearly, is candid about what will look good for me and what won't, and is great with attention to detail. I miss her, and wish I could find a stylist as good as she is where I'm living now! But even when I do, I'll still come here whenever I'm visiting CR.
My friend recommended Kelsey after I paid an absurd amount of money to get my hair done elsewhere ($430). I felt that I was taken advantage of at the other salon as I knew nothing about hair and even after the amount of money I spent, I left dissatisfied. Kelsey was super flexible with her schedule, which is a bonus as I work a 9-5 job and live an hour away from Shear Happenings.
