I was a CNA for 12 years, so I’m aware of how a hospice facility should be conducting themselves. This is by far the worst I’ve ever come across. First the nurses would lie about seeing my dad. Saying they stopped by to see him and never even came by. They were never on time, we’d have to wait hours for them. Can I give zero stars? My dad has been gone for 35 hours now, and absolutely nobody from hospice has reached out to offer condolences. The admitting nurse said that she thought we were looking at just hours left, but nobody checked in. It was like they admitted him, and then he didn't exist. There has been no chaplain visit as promised. I cannot recommend Hospice Compassus to anyone. There was no care and no compassion. If anybody from this hospice sees this, please do not reach out. We are done with this "service."

Absolutely horrible experience. The nurse was rude and uncaring, there was no social worker on their staff, the chaplain was usually unavailable, and I have received not one call about bereavement and it's been 5 months. I will forever be sad not only because my Mom is gone, but also for not knowing I had a choice to change hospice agencies.
