Very kind to people and seems to genuinely care about the animals. Her rates are fair.UPDATE: it's been 5 years since I made my original comment and I still take all my pets to see Dr Sloan. She truly cares for the animals and her staff is friendly and helpful

Wanted to switch vets as the one we used to see would charge too much (our final straw was when a cat routine checkup, vaccination, and fecal come out to $220!)My dog was having some issues walking and I was super hesitant about taking him to the vet as he is very anxious- not to mention how expensive the vet I used to go to really had me worry about the bills.They were all super awesome and patient with him and explained that they believed it was arthritis after a physical exam and gave some meds to try.Unfortunately the meds we tried didn't help and I was able to get an X-ray booked for the next week. I'd only been here once before when I had Harry put to sleep. They were very nice to us. Today I took Drago (nail trim) and Smudge (ear medicine). I changed to this vet, could not afford Avondale anymore.
