I was getting monthly blood work from a doctor at this medical center to determine timing of procedure that left me weak, vulnerable and easy to confuse, especially when performed to soon.During the last procedure at Trinity Hospital clinic. I was stuck with huge phlebotomy needle 5 times. While nurse asked repeatedly do you want to go home. Which he defended.. I asked for a referral to a new clinic but was gaslite so I got a new doctor and found out the procedure I had just missed was scheduled at least 4 months to soon and if that weren't enough I believe I was trolled at the offices and clinics I was refered to Thank you for the response. But I believe the timing of my last procedure was the norm not the exception and I know the behavior that took place in that unity point hospital was beyond disgraceful. The treatment and care I have received at Unity Point and the weirdness that followed me to every referral I got from Unity Point over the last 2 years has done quite enough to damage my confidence in the health care system and disrupt my personal life.

Fairly efficient staff. Nurses seem to defer to paperwork over common sense.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I would absolutely NOT recommend this office specifically Dr Ahuja’s practice. Had a 4pm appointment was tied over at another appointment called the office to see what their grace period was & I was told 15 minutes. Made it to the office at 4:15 when I was seen by Dr Ahuja she had the WORST ATTITUDE I’ve experienced from any doctor. She was rude & lacked compassion. While I was late I was still in the grace period to be seen otherwise I would not have come. She told me she would not do my physical exam that I was scheduled for. I think this lady picked the wrong profession. She made me feel very uncomfortable I couldn't voice my medical concerns, because she was snappy and was plain as day upset and irritated with me(somewhat understandable) though your upset you should never make a patient feel the way Dr Ahuja made me feel today. For that reason I ended the appointment and will be finding a new primary care doctor, I suggest everyone to do the same. Disgusting behavior from a medical professional.

Dr. Rainey is amazing and so kind. He understands and listens to me during appts and gives me options instead of just starting on medications. He monitors for any side effects. He just seems to genuinely care about his patients. The new ways to message the clinical team and schedule appts is great.

Dr. Cabrera has always been a conscientious doctor when I have come in for appointments. All the other staff have always treated me courteously also.

If I could give zero stars I would. The Dr was hypocritical and refused to help find alternate medication when the medication I needed could not be located anywhere in the QC or surrounding areas. I highly suggest finding any other office to establish care with.

It was a good healthcare place.

Tried to establish care here because we moved. Called in and waited a few months. Then I found out my appointment was scheduled for a "meet and greet" visit and that I would have to come back in a few months for my physical. For an otherwise healthy person this is excessive. It is a waste of time to make two trips and my insurance does not cover this superfluous visit.

This is my fair warning to anybody that you love attending the physician by the name of Dr. M. Apple. Since 2019 my dear mother has been a patient of Dr. Apple and throughout the years to this present date not only has she been unaware of a kidney disease that she has had, nor was any medication or a plan provided for her health to improve. She now has stage four chronic kidney disease. She has severe kidney damage and is currently fighting for her life at the University of Iowa Hospital and clinics. All of this could’ve been avoided, and as I research my charts under my mothers accord as her power of attorney, I am saddened and express extreme caution to anybody who is a patient of Dr. app. The communication is subpar as you are just a number or a dollar sign to this office. Again fair warning to those who are not diagnosed or treated as conditions continue to worsen. My mother went from healthy to dying in front of my eyes. This is an atrocity! It’s a preventable disease, if the proper action and care and compassion would’ve been taken. We have immediately ceased services from this facility, and specifically the staff and services of Dr. Apple. Furthermore, as they began to understand the blatant in action of the treatment of my mother, they are now backpedaling and adding new documents (from years past unavailable until days ago), and re-addressing the summaries under my chart, adding more and more to cover their malpractices. This is my way of reaching those who are unaware of all the handshakes behind the curtain that involve the health risk of patients seeking actual help, you have been warned.
