“Called Blackhawk Electric regarding an issue with my ceiling fan. Immediately was connected with the owner to schedule the appointment and he was upfront and transparent with pricing and recommendations. They were able to schedule me quickly and the electrician arrived on time. Additionally the electrician was able to install a new ceiling fan and get everything in working order very promptly. The electrician also removed all items including the old fan and waste from the new fan. This company is truly amazing and I'm happy to have found them. “Summary: The work i needed done was to replace about ~15ft of nutrual wires from the meter to the grid wires. When the operators arrived, they asked to see the electrical panel. Upon seeing the panel they informed me that there could be some updates made. They provided 3 quotes. The 1st quote was for $8000. This was to replace the panel among other things. The 2nd quote was for ~$4000 this would have covered replacing a few of the items from the first quote. The 3rd quote was the "bare minimum" at around $1300. This included the $299 fee for emergency service. I ultimatly went with the 3rd quote.Pros: Operators were polite, professional, and on time. The company offers emergency service.Cons. A bit expensive for the service given.The company seems to have the philosphy of leading the larger quotes over ths more affordable options. I feel this comes from there emphasis on maintaining electrical code and general saftey rather than trying to rip people off. At least thats the impression i recieved from the operators.If you are looking for extensive work to be done on your home or emergency service, call WireOne. If you are looking for a small fix, look else where.“

“So my whole house fan went out and I had no idea where to start. So I figured since it was electric I would research and hire an electrician. Without ever having worked with or even heard about Advantage Electric we gave them a shot. And what a great move that was! Not only was it affordable but the work done is top notch. I cannot express enough how very happy I am with their services and the people are SUPER nice. Easy to work with and other than a new working fan, I would not have even known that they were in my house! They were even concerned about the amount of noise the new fan makes but it is no where near as loud as the old one, but the fact he wanted to verify I was good with it before they left is outstanding! So yes, I would suggest to even my Grandma (if she were still alive) that Advantage Electric is the way to go. We will definitely call them next time we need something with power addressed.
