“I am not usually one to write reviews, but this is something I hope will help someone who was in my shoes. I have had back issues my whole life, I did a decade plus of beside nursing with lots of bending and lifting, but my back pain got significantly worse after my pregnancy. I ended up being hospitalized because I could not walk, move, site up, turn in bed, etc. without my back causing stabbing, sharp pains. That started this 6 year journey of multiple attempts on trying to fix this back pain. I tried massages, chiropractic care, muscle relaxers, steroids, steroid injections, physical therapy, physical medicine, pelvic floor therapy, I have had x-rays, MRI’s, lidocaine patches, Tylenol, ibuprofen, I have bought so many contraptions, creams etc. None if it would work long term. I did a lot of research and figured out I was having SI joint dysfunction. I was at my lowest of lows and didn’t know what to do to fix my back. The physician that was giving me my SI joint steroid injections told me he thought I should get an SI joint fusion. I did NOT want my pelvic bones fused together! I knew that would just lead to more pain just in different places. My friend knew about my back issues and was trying to help me. She sent me Dr. Josh’s information and I said- what do I have to loose. I called to make an appointment with little faith/hope that this was going to be any different. When I met with Dr. Josh he was very thorough and listened to my concerns. I remember during the consultation he said- my goal after the 12 weeks is to never see you again. That stuck out to me and honestly was why I decided to proceed forward. He actually wanted to fix me, not keep me coming back and coming back. The office is welcoming, quiet, and peaceful. It is not over booked, not always running behind, pleasant, clean, organized. Rhiannon works at the front desk and she always has a smile on her face and is so pleasant and nice to see and talk with when my son and I came in. I actually looked forward to my appointments. You will get text reminders and follow up emails that get sent out before every appointment. They send a map link and phone number in each text reminder. He leaves zero excuse for error. After the consultation he will do a teaching with recording of how to do the stretches and exercises- it is so much better than just trying to remember everything. He is very detailed and specific and that really help set me up for success. Dr. Josh uses different techniques that I had never had used before and the stretches and exercises he has you do are very specific to SI joints and it made all the difference. He is extremely kind, caring and wants his patients to succeed. At one point early in the12 weeks, I was having an issue, so I sent an email and he responded while he was gone on vacation! I have never had a doctor do that/care enough to respond while gone on vacation. Since I have completed the 12 weeks I feel like my back is so much more stable, strong and it doesn’t hurt every day, all day. I haven’t had relief like this in years! I was crying tears of joy and so thankful I was able to find Dr. Josh and took the chance. Dr. Josh was an answered prayer, a gift from above, an absolute blessing. He changed my life. That sounds dramatic, but living with constant pain that is so limiting, worrying if I bend, sneeze, cough, brush my teeth, sleep, etc. every single day, it mentally was such a heavy load to carry. I feel like I have my life back! If you are on the fence please give him a chance. I couldn’t be happier with my results!“

“Shelby was very helpful and fun to work with. After practicing yoga for years, it became obvious that twists, side bends and other basic components of yoga poses were messing with my spinal stenosis and causing pain in my right hip and outer thigh. My pain clinic suggested aquatic therapy and I'm so glad I tried it.I had several sessions with Shelby in the warm therapy pool. Later, we took a short break so I could do the routines at my gym for a few weeks on my own. We determined after that I was ready for release.Shelby printed out my exercises and laminated them for me. I take it out to the pool at the gym and do my thing for about 45 minutes.
