“I was diagnosed with some compressed discs and osteoarthritis in my neck and lower back. I have been experiencing increasing pain as the years passed and finally went to an orthopedic specialist to find out what I could do to relieve the almost constant pain and discomfort. He recommended physical therapy. My granddaughter used Athletico for her joint issues with outstanding results. I had my Doctor send them a referral and they were able to get me in quickly. I was assigned to Samantha as my physical therapist and she put together a program of exercises and massage. The relief I got was immediate. After several weeks I asked for her recommendation for dry needling and it was added to my program. Two treatments on my neck and one on my back and I can move easily now. I can’t express the pain relief I now experience after years of having good-fair-painful issues in my neck and back. It is awesome to turn my head sideways without pain! I have home exercises I do that take only about 10 minutes to keep my neck and back working without pain. I highly recommend Athletico in Adel. Shirley at the front desk goes the extra mile to get your appointments scheduled so they fit your schedule, handles the insurance and is just so friendly it’s a pleasure to walk into the facility.
