Troy's Barber Shop is a traditional barbershop with parking available across the street. Troy is known for providing great, straightforward haircuts at competitive prices. He is friendly, honest, and efficient, and is skilled at finding common interests with his customers. Over the years, he has shown consistency and willingness to take feedback to improve his service. However, there have been some complaints about the shop's customer service, specifically regarding interactions with a parent of two teenage boys who was looking for a barber for her sons. The parent felt disrespected by the shop's comments and attitude towards her and her sons, and ultimately decided to take her business elsewhere.
I see there are some negative and some positive reviews. To be honest, it was my first choice for haircuts when I first came USA. The quality of the cuts are awesome, and before I got my first cut, He explained everything, like if You require to have fade or fancy cuts, this is not the place etc. His communication might seem awkward to some, I get it, but I believe he does an amazing job for haircuts for that price. I think Troy is so clear about his policies and always gives me the best cuts.
Troy is a great barber. He has a policy of doing straight forward haircuts that can be done quickly with a minimal amount of fuss. If you want some specialized style of scissor cut, he is upfront and honest in recommending a different shop. He is friendly and honest, with competitive pricing. I will continue to use his shop as long as I am able.
Been with Troy for 3+ years now, and he’s been great! Always finds common interests with his customers, has consistent hours, & is efficient & solid. He has taken any feedback I’ve had over the years & really has a good handle on my cut.
