About Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center
The Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center provides medical and traditional healing services with aloha. While some patients have reported negative experiences, such as poor service and long wait times, others have had very positive experiences, particularly in the women's health department. Some staff members, including Dr. Enid and Dr. Nagamine, have been praised for their kindness, attentiveness, and care. The health center's facilities, including the garden, have also been appreciated by patients. Overall, the center has a mixed reputation, but many patients have had positive interactions with their providers and appreciate the care they received.
I recently visited the Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center on Farrington Highway, a key healthcare hub for the Waiʻanae Coast community. The campus operates as a comprehensive community health hub, seamlessly integrating primary care, specialty services, pharmacy, laboratory services, and social support programs all in one convenient location.
The atmosphere at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center is vibrant and intentional. The clinic caters to a diverse community on the leeward side of Oʻahu, ensuring a consistent stream of patients all day long. Even with that high demand, the vibe showcases a vibrant sense of community spirit. Numerous patients...read full review
Update: it got worse. I am type 2 diabetic and asked to be switched to a new provider because Jennifer Williams told me to hush I talk to fast. And now refuses my refills since I asked for a referral to new doctor to see me. It’s not a different practice but she says she won’t refill because I asked for a nicer doctor. Been trying for 6 weeks to get lab work done. Doctor keeps failing to send orders. I get turned away each time I go to lab. I can’t get prescriptions filled until bloodwork. I’m out of meds. My mental health is affected tremendously by this lack of concern and care. Doctor does not seem to care. The staff at check in desk has been nice to me though.
I've been going to the comp for over 15 years both clinics and a few ER visits for both myself and my daughter.. overall I haven't really had any issues except for as others have stated as well the rude receptionist. Seriously some people should not answer phones. I see Dottie fale who has been absolutely great thus far always responds quickly to issues I may have. Pediatric clinic saw Dr nesbitt who has also been amazing. The walk in clinic at waianae Mall however is horrid as well as nanakuli clinic their desks staff are generally ignoring patients talking amongst themselves. They left my daughter in a room for over an hour. She went in for fever not feeling well she...read full review
