James was so nice and patient with me. His artwork was beautiful. Afterwards I didn’t feel great and he was very comforting and patient with me and didn’t make me feel rushed at all.
I was lucky enough to be tattooed by Jimbo Coles yesterday at Paia Tattoo Parlor. My friend & I walked in around an hour before closing, not expecting to be able to be seen at such short notice, but Jimbo was more than happy to accomodate. He drew up our tattoos by hand & in just a few minutes we were getting our pieces done. I couldn’t be happier with the design or Jimbo’s skills; the line work is clean & bold, the tattoo is easy to read & was applied with a very gentle hand. The studio itself is clean, inviting & covered in original artwork & flash. A truly excellent experience & I recommend Paia to anyone wanting to be tattooed on Maui.
My wife and I were interested in possibly getting some work done in Maui on our vacation. While visiting the town of Paia we stopped into Paia Tattoo Parlor and just kind of checked it out. We were loving the town and the shop felt like a good fit. Gabe welcomed us in and was open to any questions. The vibe was good so we decided on a couple designs and made an appointment for the next day. Both Gabe and Zach were our artist both did an amazing job designing and also the work it self. They were very skilled and both did very nice work on both of us. The work was efficient and friendly and they did an amazing job.
