This is great. It was all that it was advertised to be and more. Joe was a great bike-host. And the woman who helped him, her name started with an M, I can't remember, she was great too. It's a really great setup and plan, what they do. Really cool tour guide Brad to take you up there to the volcano and watch the sunrise which would normally require reservations and be very difficult to do. They do all that for you. Then you get a bike ride. That's all downhill and lots of fun. Then you have brunch in Paia and then another great ride. It sounds like a lot but it goes by really fast, too fast. Definitely wear where something warm at the top up there. It is cold and windy

Our experience with Maui Mountain Riders was stellar. Our family was at different levels of excitement/fear for the bike ride part of this fantastic excursion. I was the nervous one, and Joe was a terrific guide to help me have two successful rides down. Nani and the entire team were also very supportive. Meanwhile my husband and two teen daughters loved their unaccompanied rides down at their own faster pace. Our driver Brad for the first part of the journey was helpful and informative. Highly recommend this adventure!

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everything was thoughtfully planned—from the informative tour provided by Everett, to the warm ponchos for the summit (it’s definitely cold up there!), to the ride back down the mountain with Joel.

The sunrise was absolutely amazing and completely worth the early wake-up. Our kids (16 and 15) loved the experience as well. We scheduled it for our first night on the island while we were still on mainland time, which made the early start much easier. Highly recommended!
