I ended up with a cut on my cornea while on vacation in Kauai. They got me in within a couple of hours. The Dr was awesome and prescribed me antibiotics and a plan to get my eye healed. Would recommend!

I am a visitor and got a sliver of fiber embedded in my eye. Eye wash did not help. The office manager was very agreeable to fit me in that afternoon . Another ophthalmology practice said to go to the emergency room (which would have taken hours and cost $$$$ and been a bad use of the ER.) Dr. Craig Wilkerson of Pacific Eye Care was kind, thorough and knowledgeable. The fiber was difficult to find but he quickly removed it. I was in and out, with the foreign body out of my eye, in an hour. Because of numerous eye conditions, I have been to many ophthalmologists. I highly recommended this practice. Thank you so much for helping my daughter enjoy the rest of our vacation seeing this beautiful ipsland! She accidentally dropped glasses in the ocean, i called our doctor and sent us ger prescription so that she can get contact lenses. I called several optical places, they returned my call and allowed us to purchase contact lenses. So thankful! If they can take care of visitors, I'm sure they take care of their patients even more!
