I was on Kaua'i for a work rotation when my Ford Escape transmission went out. I was freaking out, but Juli and the team at Ford were able to help get me situated and take my car in so quickly for a diagnostic. From there they ordered a special part for me and kept me updated throughout the entire process. They worked with me to make sure I was able to put things in my car and went above and beyond to help get my car shipped back to O'ahu smoothly. I am so incredibly grateful to Juli and the rest of the team at Kuhio Ford who made an experience that could have been horrible so much easier. Thank you all!
After a week, they diagnose the AC, bad evaporator will cost $1800. No wait, she made an error, the cost is $2200. Oops actually $2300. And the diagnosis, which is normally included is additional $300 or so. My service agent doesn't respond to calls, texts or messages, so there's no way to plan a pickup, nada. So net net, after fees I am guessing about 3 grand to fix the AC. Live and learn, right?
I had an unbelievably positive experience in the ford dealership service department today. My daughters car had an issue while I was out of town and Tom my service writer absolutely helped me out in a pinch while I'm off island. I have always had great service here but today exceeded all my expectations. If you need responsive honest hands on help I highly recommend contacting Tom.
