I have been to the Spa by the Sea on previous visits but this time I had a massage therapist named Ionela (female). This was hands down the BEST massage I have ever had. I get regular massages so I was VERY happy that my 80-minute massage was better than expected. Last time they shorted me on my time when they started late so maybe the karma gods gave me Ionela to make up for it. I will always request her from now on. She does give a firm massage so if you want lighter, you will have to tell her. What a wonderful experience!!
My husband and I started off our honeymoon with a massage by the sea. He has Scottish and I had Elle and they were both nothing shy of incredible. The cabana by the ocean made the massage ten times more relaxing, and we were able to have the curtain between our cabanas open, so we could see each other. It was the best way to start off our vacation after the stress of wedding planning. We were able to melt away and really connect with the island for the beginning of our 10 day trip. This is definitely the place to go!
Veronica was amazing! I got an 80-minute lomi lomi massage and she used lemongrass oils and a hot stone and coconut oil in my hair. It was amazing and relaxing! Veronica hit all my sore and stiff zones. She was very good at checking in about pressure and target areas.There’s also a sauna and steam room that you can use by just being a guest at the resort, you don’t need a spa appointment.They offer outdoor and indoor massages.
