Maui is still recovering from the Lahaina fire. Some services haven't returned yet. Residents of the area are ready to welcome tourists back to their businesses. These people are very friendly and resilient.Honua Kai Resort is beautiful.Walkability: Lots of paths around the complex for walkers and joggers.Food & drinks: Duke restaurant on site provides excellent food and service $$ - $$$.
Love this property it's huge has beautiful views, the rooms are spacious has a dishwasher, fullsize refrigerator & a washer & dryer as well. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be disappointed.
The condo was awesome, but could have had a few additional kitchen tools and prep items like large mixing bowls, a pitcher, and cookie sheets. Otherwise, it's really nice, very clean and
