I came in for cancer treatment with four legs, yeah?
Came out with three.
Naturally I was like,
“Eh brah… we good or what?”

For one quick second, I thought about leaving one star — because clearly something missing — BUT listen up:

These vets?
Solid.

They took great care of me and really talked story with my family. They took the time to explain everything, made my ʻohana feel calm, and handled the whole thing with care and aloha. That part meant a lot.

The surgery straight up saved my life. Healing was smooth, no pain, no drama, and now I’m back home feeling strong

People always say it costs an arm and a leg to live on Maui…
Well… they weren’t joking ?
But worth it.

Small notes from a very serious reviewer:
• Still waiting on leg-grow-back technology (science, step it up)
• doc wears skinny jeans — bold choice, respect

But overall?
Five stars easy.

I feel good.
I feel strong.
I was treated with care and respect.

“These people have the qualifications but more than that they are kind and understanding and devoted to the well-being of the animals brought into their care, and the well-being of the humans who bring them. I wish I could say the same of the physicians, techs, and staff who treat ME at KP or MMG - I am to the point where I wish that I myself (as well as my animals) could be a patient of @home! “I was new on the island and had to find a place to board my cats, not knowing where to take Them I went to Google. Search and even though this facility was a little bit farther from my house there’s a veterinarian clinic on site. There’s also a horse boarding area. The staff was so friendly. The facility is so clean smelled good. The pets are all happy and my kitties even though it was her first day ever in boarding, they did extremely well. The girls were very patient with them and I’m definitely on my way back to have him babysit my cats again.“

“I had the chance recently to visit Kihei Veterinary Clinic. While I was there I was lucky enough to be given a tour by one of the owners who had some free time and I also got a glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes! Wow, as a client you mostly just get to see the lobby and the exam rooms but this time I was able to see their treatment areas, xray area, pharmacy and all the stuff you know must be there but you never get to see. I was impressed by the layout and how everything was organized as well as how busy and committed to their work everyone seemed to be. There were two really sick dogs there from the same family and everyone was heartsick over it and trying to do everything they could to make a difference. Sometimes when you talk to the staff you don't realize how much they care until you see them in action trying to save a life. As clients we don't always get to witness that. Dr. Leaper was there and getting ready to go out on a house call and his staff was so good about making sure he had everything he needed because who knows the situation will be when you get there? Anyway I really appreciated the tour and it gave me a deeper understanding of the practice and how dedicated they are to helping animals. I highly recommend Kihei Veterinary Clinic and Dr. Jerob Leaper!“

“We took my dog to these guys to get shots and a nail clipping. We assumed it would take about 30 minutes. They returned in about 5 minutes and everything was done. I should add that my dog is utterly terrified of everything. She has the most anxiety of any creature I know. - and they were so warm and patient with her. I love this vet clinic, they are so awesome.“
