My husband had a Honu tattoo added to his calf 6'montjs ago by Henry I.. It was really well done so when our dog passed it seemed right to have a memorial paw print added to my inner arm. I met with Henry and we discussed my idea. He then made an appointment for me two weeks later and when I arrived he had a beautiful mock up for me to consider. Not only was it exactly what I had hoped for he really took it to an entirely deeper level. He added the traditional tribal symbolism he knew of in Hawai'i (e.g., ocean, mountains, and even sun/moon). Then he even added deep white stripes inside the motifs to highlight the color of my pet. All this to say I have 5 other tattoos but this is by far my favorite. It is still healing up nicely on day 7, but it is perfect!!' Best ever!!!

Hano did amazing work on both mine and my husbands tattoos celebrating our recent marriage, and our honeymoon in Maui. I came in with a specific design, and my husband came in with an idea, and Hano was able to please us both! His linework is both precise and delicate, and perfect for both of our chosen pieces. We'll be back to visit Imua Tattoo and Hano on our next trip to Maui!
