Outstanding 5 Stars! Can't say enough about the great service received from DaKine! From the initial contact with Kathe, who took the time to listen to my dilemma (previous bad experience with another company and 3 months w/o AC in Kihei!). She asked questions about the work that was done prior and then enlisted their technician, Mel, to do a consult visit.Mel was outstanding in his service; he is committed, informed and experienced (34 years!) with the workings of air conditioning systems. Used them for routine maintenance of our central air units. Mel was great: efficient, knowledgeable and went the extra mile. Definitely my go to place on the island and we used few others. Dakine is my favorite.Service: A/C system maintenance

I contacted DaKine for repairs on my 2008 ducted split system AC unit and could not have been more pleased with the service from the tech (Mel), the dispatcher (Kathy). Prior to retiring from the hotel restaurant business, I was head of maintenance and dealt with many HVAC companies. I can offer my highest recommendation for DaKine for being prompt, honest (they use a scale to weigh the amount of freon dispensed) and above all else knowledgeable. Mel went above and beyond IMO even trying to remove a temp limiter a previous owner had set on my thermostat. Top notch company, HIGHLY recommended.Service: A/C system maintenance
