This was my first time visiting 808 salon and overall I had a really good experience. First the place is very stylist and hip in the inside, love how the flow is and is set up in such a way that social distancing is possible. It's pretty clean as well. They take your temperature and require masks. One thing that caught me off guard is a dog was in the salon jumping and furniture and licking my toes. My thought well that's different. Assuming it was the owners. I had Jennifer as my hair stylist and let just say she is AMAZING!!!! I have very thick and fluffy hair and she is the first hair stylist in all my years to be able to actually blow dry my hair without it frizzing. She was amazing. I can't recommend her enough. I will keep coming back for her.
I regularly get my hair cut and styled by Jennifer. She is one of the very few hair stylist that seems to get my hair. She is highly skilled, very professional and friendly. The Salon is clean, relaxing and they are stocked with high quality salon products.
Part of their covid protocol, they require you to text when you arrive. I first thought that was a bit inconvenient, but now I just go sit at Amigos next door and watch a game and have a cocktail while I wait for my stylist to be ready. I am hoping they keep the texting service after the covid restrictions get lifted.
