I've been going to Luxary Nails for 14 years now. There had been a fair amount of worker turn over. Yen owned the shop for maybe the first 7 years. The workers were all her family. Her husband Howard was very gentle. Mimi & her sister started working there, and after maybe 6 months Yen sold the shop & moved to Texas. For the past 7 years Mimi has done my nails. I had to put my foot down to keep my own nails. Mimi puts solar gel over my own nails. Each time she cuts the new growth down & does my nails with solar gel. Mimi does an excellent job. I hadn't been there since it was bought out by the new owners....years ago. Stopped by once and learned they only do gel nails. I decided to give them a try this week even though I feel their prices are a little on the high side. I told Miss Uni? that I usually go to the mall but really feel that their service has declined and that they handle my hands and nails very roughly. Well, she works fast and rough and I had to pull my hand away twice. She asked me how long I wanted my nails and I showed her, she didn't get it, and I ended up with nails that are very short....too short. I love getting my nails done! Mimi is the best! She always takes care of me! She takes her time to do what I want her to do! I am very happy with the services she does there! I have been a faithful customer for 7 years an will keep coming back forever!
