I went back and had a 5-star experience! Started off contacting Shen, but after discussion, she suggested Maila would be a better match for my vision. I really appreciated the flexibility and recommendation. Maila is amazing. Super talented, takes the time to figure out what you want and also to execute what you want. She has made getting a tattoo a seamless, meaningful, and smooth experience. I consider her my go-to artist moving forward, but I am confident in all the artists at this shop. Just want to clarify that this rating is for Shen and what I wrote about an individual who rents space at this shop doesn't hinder my experience with Shen the artist and owner of the shop. She went above and beyond to handle my issue with care. But i wouldn't feel right unless i describe what brought me to her to be my artist.
I had an amazing experience with Shen at KTown Tattoos in Hawaii! She took the time to really understand the style and design I was aiming for, and she worked with me to ensure the new piece complemented my existing tattoos perfectly. Her attention to detail, creativity, and patience made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. I’m beyond excited with how it turned out—it’s even better than I imagined! Highly recommend Shen if you’re looking for a talented and thoughtful artist. 🤙🔥
Now when it comes to and individual named kyle.tattoos I had an extremely frustrating experience with Kyle.Tattoos at KTown Tattoos in Hawaii. From start to finish, this was a complete disappointment, and I feel compelled to share my experience to help others avoid the same issues. First off, communication was virtually nonexistent. I reached out to Kyle multiple times in the weeks leading up to my tattoo appointment to discuss the design. He repeatedly promised to send me drafts, yet each time, he claimed that he would send it that night or the next morning which he never did. I asked for updates multiple times, only to be met with vague excuses or silence. On the day before my tattoo session, I was shocked to find out that Kyle had only just begun working on my design that day. This was after I had been told on several occasions that the design was nearly finished and ready. I felt completely misled and unprepared for the session, as I had trusted him to have the design ready in advance. To make matters worse, when I confronted him about the situation, he took no accountability for his lack of professionalism. Instead of offering a genuine apology, he simply said and I quote “just don’t call me a liar bro…u don’t know me dogg…I don’t need ur money…u don’t know how busy my week was and I’m glad I I aint gotta try and save ur sleeve lol thumbs up”. Then proceeded to send another message “and tattooing is my business…u hit me up not the other way around remember that…my process is the only thing that needs to be taken seriously even if u don’t agree…the customer isn’t always right in this case just impatient lol” It was incredibly frustrating to deal with someone who has zero communication skills and is unwilling to own up to their mistakes. I had high hopes for my tattoo, but this experience completely soured the process. I would not recommend Kyle.Tattoos to anyone looking for a reliable or professional artist.

Ktown!!! Big shoutout to shen. She took care of Me and my husband from the start. Called her she was very nice and informative got us in. She worked with us and created this beautiful sleeve. She is very talented and knowledgeable about tribal tattoos. Walking us through it explaining everything and on top of that shen free hand draw my husbands very own sleeve and exceeded our expectations. She listened to what we wanted and had in mind and she did her magic! She created this beautiful artwork! I highly recommend Shen and KTOWN!!

Hands down one of the best artists I've seen. Ask for Brad, you won't be disappointed! His IG is Bradleyz_tattooz His line work is nothing short of amazing. Literally looked like he typed the words on my hands. Was in town from CO visiting family and stumbled on the shop. So why not get some work done. Needless to say, I'll be visiting him again on my next trip for some bigger pieces. Shop was also one of the CLEANEST shops I've been to. you can tell they take pride in their work & their workplace.

Ktown tattoos located in Kaneohe has been the only tattoo shop that I've gotten my tattoos by far. I don't have many tattoos myself but the first time that I've been to k town tattoos was when i was 18 and got my back tattoo, i enjoyed the staff and service and the quality of the artwork. My brother and i got cute sibling tattoos as a gift for his birthday. The lobby is clean and tidy along with a place to sit down and take in the A/C while you enjoy looking into the books of Shenskees' work and the many works posted on their walls. Before proceeding with the tattoos, you'll need to fill out an electronic consent form. The process only took less than 5 minutes to do too so i like how efficient it went! Our tattoo artists, Shen and Brad were great and they were very professional, transparent, and communicative from what our tattoos would like in different sizes, and they gave recommendations on the patterns of the tattoos. My brother and i did our tattoos at the same time and it didn't take long. I'd say we sat about an hour-ish. And WE LOVE IT!!! They take cash and/or card. I paid in cash to avoid a $3-4 card fee. Everything went smooth and they gave us a print of an aftercare plan. Parking is limited in the compound but there's always street parking available too! Brad also mentioned free touch ups if needed!

Inquired about services. They were very quick to respond and super easy to set up for an appointment. The shop was very open and it wasn't hot, Tattoo went well. It was a great first experience and if you ever need tattoos done go to Bradley he's the best. definitely would recommend this tattoo shop.
