I actually planned my vacation around touring the Kanile'a factory and picking up my beautiful "KPA" Premium Tenor Ukulele. Thanks to Benji from Kanile'a, who personally assisted me with the purchase in advance and pick-up after taking the factory tour. Benji was also our tour guide and walked us through every step of the Kanile'a build process. From sourcing materials through the shipping process and everything in between. Our tour was extra special as Master Luthier and Part-Owner, Joe Souza welcomed us all and provided a detailed overview of the CNC capabilities currently employed at the Kanile'a factory. We had a delightful tour! It was great to see the instruments being formed at every stage and to see the skill of everyone in the shop. Impressive. And we were happy to meet some YouTube stars too!?

The tour was beyond amazing. Joe was so kind & knowledgeable. My mom really wanted to do this tour as she owns some of their ukuleles. It was a great time, very enjoyable and loved learning about the history of their instruments and their process.
