Rockwood is totally a bad ass. True life Rockstar, with the persona to back it up. He had tattooed so many famous rock starts and knows them all with signed photos to back it up. And his work is stunning. Next choice i have ever made regarding a tattoo.
My family and I went to kona for a vacation, our 16 year old son wanted a tattoo and naturally we said NO... But then his argument was legit, he's v turning 17 in 2 days and he's getting one when he turns 18 anyways... The part I haven't mentioned yet is, the tattoo he wanted to get was on his sister's birthday and was going to be in honor of his sister who passed away in 2023.. We contacted big island tattoo and they were so supportive and helpful and they gave my son his first tattoo as well as gave me a tattoo to honor my daughter.. They could have charged us a fortune knowing we were tourists but instead gave us an excellent price. They even went in on their day off...read full review
Such a nice place! Becky was so attentive and we could have a short but nice talk before Rockwood got started with my beautiful tattoo. He is an artist and also a very nice, easygoing guy, I felt totally comfortable and got not fear at all, although this was my first big tattoo (at least bigger than the other ones I have). I want to thank Rockwood and Becky and when I am back in the Big Island of Hawaii I will for sure pay you a visit and get another tattoo done. I trully recommend this Studio.
