Vares was great, and I couldn't ask for better. From permits, to logistics, to managing expectations and the tenants, they made it a piece of cake for me. They even finished a day early. I've worked with a few different companies on similar projects, and they've all been competent, but none have made it so easy. I look forward to working with them again.

We purchased a home on Northshore Maui that was a complete fixer-upper, but with much potential. It needed a retaining wall and the project was so complex, we had a difficult time finding the right contractor. When Edward Vares came to view the property, he instilled so much confidence in his ability to demolish and excavate the very neglected backyard, and then build our wonderful retaining wall. He brought in subcontractors who put in other hardscape around the property. Now we enjoy sitting in our lovely backyard and look out at our ocean view.
