MMG's newest clinic has been open since about December 2014, located on the ground floor of the One Hana Highway building which shares the same parking lot as Mercedes Benz. Parking is free and plentiful, and highway access is easy.
It's a very small clinic with only 2 internal medicine and 1 dermatology doctor. There is a Clinical Lab office in the building as well, but should you need any other services such as radiology, you'll have to trek up to the Wailuku clinic. Crowds? Nada! Germ-y, screaming kids? Nada! I love this place!
Being new, the decor is modern, and the place feels clean in general. The exam rooms have nice views of the harbor area and Kaahumanu...read full review
My husband & I had been with Maui Medical Group for more than 45 yrs. We love their services as well as their doctors had a more caring one to one caring for each of their patients. But, Sadly, their health staff changed in customer services to their patients. Sometimes, I wonder if these health staff are here to give their patients there all, or the healthcare staff is employed just for their futures retirement benefits? Because, little do they know there actions reflect on their staff's!!! Their Optometrists,( as a local and a longtime patient ) don't care for Optometrists services at all. Optometrists services to local are not treated the same as caucasian. That the patients notice that ( while waiting and watching in the office) Optometrists services towards patients are different manner. Now, MMG optometrists retired there is No replacement! Why? Convenient for patients which Kaiser is their competitor. As overall employee staff. Let's start in the beginning. MMG has Inexperience customers service from their phone operators, doctors staff with their patients as well as patients Doctors! MMG should take care their employees staff ( especially day shifts) MMG, should take time for employees of training classes on how to Handle, Service your patients ( patients are who pays for MMG employment) Solution can be solved through their working conditions as we'll release stress, too MMG should not giving up on this training idea ASAP. It works. MMG, has only a handful, less than a handful of medical professionals there that does continue service their patients with so much services. But, only a few. Sadly,The patient waiting in their room is a long which( like Maui hospital ER) for seeking services from doctors, but those are a few whom are serving their duties like what their patients are there for. But,most physicians forget themselves they have patients are in the room waiting patiently to be served upon and hears ( Which sometimes the walls are so thin that patients can hear in the waiting rooms) doctors conversation of their personal lives! So, complaining that MMG headquarters' GM at the penthouse office. They, should start getting out their comfort office and make as an example ( Go out in that building every day all different time. But, go and exercise those legs to each floor and get acquainted of what you see on hand for yourself ( What you can improve and where the problem are. Interact with you employees and patients, too. Don't only wait for your general meetings, if you of your patients! Then the GM needs to change himself. Because, like I said 45yrs plus years I'm sharing my opinion that can be better thatKaiser Permanente..That you will receive more patients Thank you
There was a good doctor at this location (Dr.Wong), but she left after only a few years and a whole year on maternity leave. I don’t think there is anyone who has replaced her. Liked the PAs Jessica Graves and Tamsyn Kellough. We’ve never had a problem with the check-in people. The assistants at the Dermatology department are pleasant as well as the doctor and PA, but they now only allow 15 minutes per visit. I felt really rushed and a big portion of those minutes were used bringing the PA up to speed on my conditions and medicines she had previously prescribed. The PA is extremely nice and seems very knowledgeable, but I don’t think 15 minutes is enough time. They...read full review
