Came in without an appointment to work out some major tension in my neck and lower back (cervical and lumbar spinal column) from a long flight, and in 30 minutes walked out feeling totally loose and blissed out.
Erica was my practitioner, and wow she did some amazing work. I told her that my spots were my neck and lower back and she was skillful, but also I could tell she was methodically feeling out/sensing the sources of my tension and gently applying more and more pressure (checking in to make sure it was not too much).
I just came back from Thailand and Vietnam, and had some of the best massages in my life there- but Erica at Birds of Paradise Spa matched/surpassed those experiences.
So thankful… was only a 30 minute chair massage but wow did it do the trick. I usually tip 15-20%, but since this was only $50 I felt like I had to leave 40%. Can’t emphasize how therapeutically effective it was for me!”
