This is the place to go if you want to buy a ukulele. I have purchased two ukuleles here. They have ukuleles ranging from those wanting to spend a minimal amount of money to try it out to extremely high quality, one-of-a kind collector instruments. Tyler (the owner) is extremely knowledgeable about ukuleles and just a nice guy. He and the shop staff are very low-pressure, helpful, and nonjudgmental. They just genuinely want to help and share their love of ukulele with you. The array of ukuleles (and vintage vinyl) in the shop is impressive.
Got a very special ukulele last year. The owner was very kind and patient. I suspect the people leaving negative reviews are the same ones that would complain when asked not to point firearms at people when in a gun shop. If you are interested in Hawaiian authenticity, buy here and don’t stop at one of the kamehameha dealers in town.
I stopped in to look for any ukulele music books that I didn't already own, and was surprised to find a nice little selection of music Cds. I left with a music book I didn't already have, but also almost 10 CDs I didn't know I needed!
The owner Tyler was very knowledgeable in music CD history and availability. I highly recommend a visit!
