About Tripler Army Medical Center Emergency Room
Tripler Army Medical Center Emergency Room has received mixed reviews from visitors. Many patients appreciated the care and empathy shown by the staff, noting that they felt respected and well-examined. Some reported quick service, especially during early morning visits, and highlighted the comfort of private waiting rooms. However, the hospital is acknowledged to be understaffed, which affects service levels and waiting times. Despite the challenges, many patients found the quality of care comparable to civilian hospitals, with thorough evaluations and a friendly atmosphere. Tripler ER is recognized as an essential facility for military families in Hawaii, and visitors are advised to bring necessary ID and paperwork for access. Overall, experiences vary, but many patients leave with a sense of gratitude for the staff's efforts.
It was the worse hospital I have ever been to waited 7 hrs just for them to say there’s nothing wrong plus no sheets on the bed well it was but it wasn’t it’s all around no for me never again I’ll die before I go back there look at pic no sheet it kept coming off cause it didn’t fit
Had persistent chest pain for 5 days, came in and was thoroughly tested and quickly. All issues were addressed. All tests and treatments were explained prior to their commencing by the Doctor, nurses and technicians who treated me. This consistency and thoroughness really impressed me.
I am very pleased with the level of professionalism, the care and the kind treatment of their patients here - check in to discharge - at Trippler.
Had to wait 4 hours and watch multiple people go before my wife, with my wife who had a miscarriage 2 days prior just to be told repeatedly in stupid clinical speak that she had miscarried, this place sucks avoid it if you can
