This facial was terrible. I trusted all of these good reviews and I guess that was my mistake. There was not much prep before doing the extractions at all. There was no steam whatsoever and I really enjoy that as I feel like it softens my skin. Steam or even a hot towel could've helped soften my skin and prep for the extractions. The extraction part was terrible itself, she was scraping really really hard and mentioned several times how her clients would tell her that her extractions were painful. She said if you don't press hard enough nothing will come out. I'm not the expert but scraping and pulling skin doesn't seem helpful it actually seems harmful. It seemed like I paid for not much service. When she did the blue light therapy she just left me in the room for ten minutes or more. She could've massaged my head and arms or something but instead I'm just laying there doing nothing. Even the face mask felt cheap she just used a sheet mask. My skin has been purging with really bad breakouts ever since the facial it's super bumpy everywhere. I've had allergic reactions from facials before but I don't think this is the case right now. I will not come back based on lack of service and how roughly she deals with the skin. For the amount of the facial it should feel more luxurious than it did and maybe she should rethink doing extractions so roughly to the point where it's painful.
Nikki from Skin Essentials Aesthetic Center is amazing at what she does, and has an impressive knowledge of skin. If you want your face to be clean, soft, glowing, and just flat out beautiful go to Nikki. She offers a variety of services and products for your skin to look it’s best.
Simply Amazing Facial! My experience was great as expected. Nikki was really nice, we had some small talk about how we have been. When she asked me about my skincare routine, I told her what I do nowadays at home and that I had facials in the past. She analyzed my skin and told me the concerns she had for my skin. Nikki is very knowledgable about skin types, products, etc. I love Nikki because she is the first person who listened to my issues and took the time to differentiate between appropriate products for my skin type and a long-term solution, not just a quick fix!
