Love that Andre works within your budget. Me, my wife and sis in law have gone to him and Aaron twice over the last couple years. Aaron has done memorial pieces for our mothers using the handwritten letters our families left for us. Andre does some of the best and original Polynesian tribal ink work I've ever seen. Place is a pain getting too due to construction on the main road but that's just Hawaii living.
Adding to my tattoo collection - I wanted a koi. To do that I needed to cover up another tattoo. I was looking to find someone who understood the symbolism and would do a great job. Before our trip to the island Andre & I were communicating and set everything up. A meeting before the actual tattooing confirmed he had the knowledge in was looking for. He did a great job, the koi looks great and you can't see any remnants of the old tat.
ANDRE IS AMAZING! He took my vision and made it come to life. I simply gave him the idea I had in mind: a violin to represent my dad how he was a musician and a pikake Maile lei to represent how my dad was a pastor. The whole piece was in memory of my dad. I didn't realize how detailed Andre would create it, and I was definitely pleased. Andre had a tattoo special going on, and he stayed within my budget. The experience itself was great! Of course some spots were more painful then others, but it was nice how he'd tap on it after inking it then move to a different spot. Took about 2 hours, when estimated time was 3. Andre was great.
