Chris is seriously the best hairstylist ever!! He, as they say, understood the assignment. I was going for a 60's French movie star look, and showed him a few pictures and he totally adapted what I showed him to my hair texture and face shape. He is so intense when he works, and doesn't chat much, which I actually appreciate. You can tell he is really focused. He totally transformed my look, making me look much cuter and more put-together and I couldn't be happier. Also he gives the best scalp massage haha. Definitely recommend!!

+Attention to detail +Customer focused and satisfaction +Amazing results! First off, I want to thank Jackie for working with me on my color correction. I came here with three different shades. dark brown virgin hair with grown out brown shadow root and bleached ends with tons of breakage... I basically walked in with a rainbow over my head and exited a new person with fabulous trimmed blonde hair. This is a correction for color and cut if ever there was one in the "her-story" of hair woes Upon making my appointment with Jackie, my hair was caught between getting healthier, growing out from another establishment's lack of skill- literally I was bald up top from the damage. It was awful, but I gave my hair a chance to grow, got some shadow root then grew it out more. I waited until I was sure I'd find the right stylist; ENTER, MRS JACKIE! Conveniently located across from the Ala Moana Shopping center, next to Azure condos on Makaloa, this gem at the Makaloa Plaza is unassuming from the outside, passer by's have no clue at the arsenal of skill, love of beauty and services offered within. I booked a consultation and Jackie was able to see me the next day. I went in thinking that a K Beauty salon is going to be uppity and not friendly, but that is far from the case. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, got seated and Jackie inspected my hair, gave me a break down of the correction process and booked my appointment! I wasn't able to make the original appointment but called a day in advance and rescheduled, to which Jackie was very flexible. However, I ended up getting excited and pushed my appointment a day forward and again, Jackie accommodated. I walked in at 3 and didn't leave until 8.30pm.. what stylist would do that for a first time customer? Let alone be so patient through the process. It was a long one: first bleach to lift the grown out shadow area*, then placed under the heat lamp, second process off of the scalp to lift it again and closer to the root**, placed under the heat lamp, third process to touch the root***, again placed under heat lamp, last process to blend with toner****, no heat lamp thank bob- Did I mention the wash? Oh yeah, I got my hair washed 4 times, I've placed the * at the end of every process :), and to ramble, she even placed these cute little ear caps on me during the lifts! I have never ever experienced such care and focus towards the customer, me! She also trimmed my hair with a pretty nifty technique! Leaving me with what feels like smooth even ends. Mind you, my hair has many lengthy hair due to past breakage but looks amazing today after this visit. That took patience on her end. And even though it sounds pretty straight forward, the amount of time it took to separate my hair to create sections as she applied the bleach... I gotta hand it to her. TRULY a professional and dedicated to seeing the results. Within those five hours, I learned a lot of her experience, 38 years to be exact. With zero amount of advertising and successfully sustaining business by word of mouth and pure passion for what she does in service of others. Jackie is definitely the GOAT. She is immensely patient and you can see she loves what she does. Her philosophy is making others happy and she will be happy! I am beyond happy with the results and I hope that this review finds you, in further hope that if you have a "hair she-mergency", don't hesitate to have a quick consultation with Jackie. She'll do her best for you and make sure that you're taken care of. Her ability to have you experience K Beauty will make you see that K Beauty is really bringing to the outside the beauty within you! I'm blessed to have come across Mrs. Jackie.
