Besides my personal opinion that people in Hawaii are just so much nicer than LA folk, I was super pleased with my visit to Kuhio Urgent Care. I came for acute foot pain and swelling and was seen and recommended treatment all within the hour. There were others waiting as well but this office is super efficient and professional. These medical professionals are super pleasant (surprise! they actually seem to care) and thorough in their diagnostics. Got blood work (for preexisting condition) to cover all bases, prescription and x-ray order as well. Feeling much better and recovering nicely. Super happy with medical care in Hawaii, thanks!

I will start off with this: this is the only time I've been to any kind of medical care facility and it was genuinely fun and then some. I have been to many medical facilities in my time and never once did I genuinely enjoy it. (Maybe I stall when it comes to going to appointments because I find it so mundane). This is not the case at all when it comes to the Kuhio Medical Clinic. I went in just before they closed, and they couldn't have been nicer and more caring. They were well-staffed and were able to see me all but immediately. I was in and out (for an eye infection) in no time. Considering it's just behind the International Marketplace, it's perfect for anyone staying at the local hotels and condos. While the walk-up office looks a little sketchy from the street, the office itself is clean and organized. I was back to my vacation in no time flat!
