This non for profits takes bike donations and teaches kids how to repair and maintain bikes. Recreation and some mechanical skills. Donations help low income and public housing families in the Kalihi Valley area. I have multiple bikes. It's too crowded in my apartment. I have one bike I love which is a 1992 Dyno Compe freestyle bike. It's dope. I could sell it for money. But I wanted someone who would appreciate to have it. The teenager who took my donation said they don't receive anything that nice typically. I said hopefully it make someone happy. The bike for being 28 years old is in pretty good condition. I feel satisfied that I could give my bike to someone who may not be able to afford a bike instead of collector. I've been donating a lot of thing I don't use anymore this year. I felt best with this one because they keep their activities documented and you can see the keiki working on bikes, all smiles, so I feel like my bike will continue to put smiles on someone's face as it did for me growing up.

Its good for the kids. They get more out of it then just repairing theyre bikes. They have the opportunity to get help and tutoring with theyre schoolwork and to be a part of a team . Very pisitive interaction
