I recently had tests done at Kuakini Medical Center and it was the very best Medical experience I have had in over 50 years living in Hawaii! Everyone from the check in, to the Techs and Doctors and all the Staff were all so friendly , professional , and accommodating and if I could give them 10 stars I would! Thanks Kuakini Staff! I would like to graciously thank each and everyone on the medical team for providing planned, needed, outstanding outpatient procedure, care and support on 2.23.2024. Immense gratitude to the four nurses for pre and post follow-up, team of ten in operatory room who helped me feel comfortable and worked expeditiously while I was asleep, and kind gentleman who rolled me out on a wheelchair, greeted my husband, and shared his sense of humor. I'm very grateful to my ENT physician and his team for getting to the root of health concerns and resolving issues right away. I'm able to breathe 100% when I'm in colder climate.

Going through ER and recovering in the hospital room with flu/pneumonia during its peak was the most humbling and humiliating experience ever! But, it was only to be fiercely matched with, and perhaps even surpassed by, the grace and compassion of the Kuakini nurses! I love them! They are my heroes! I won't go into the awful details, but their humor and professionalism helped me as I was so sick and weakened and I wholly depended on them to clean me up every time! I caught brief glimpses of what they go through throughout the days and nights and I'm amazed that they haven't run away because yes, I think I would have! They were all amazing!
