A total gem of a record shop. I’m way overdue for a review and when I dropped by here I picked up some local lp’s, The Green of course, and sluffed on the huge selection of Japanese 45’s that are hard to find in the mainland. I loved the customer service. The staff person seemed like he lived and breathed the music and I didn’t see a huge commercial selection of vinyl which I prefer. One of my favorite indie shops.
I loved the vibe of this place. I will definitely be back! They have a great selection when it comes to new and old vinyls. There’s lots of random ones too if you want to discover new music in different genres. There’s used and brand new vinyls. They don’t just sell records either, there’s CDs and i’m pretty sure a few books. There’s stickers, record player cleaners, customized record players, and customized needles. I bought 3 records and they totaled to about $120! Great prices all around and absolutely in love with the atmosphere and hospitality. 10/10 would go again:)
Gotta hit as many as I can throughout the US and this one's the farthest West 🙂. Great shop in a very cool urban plaza with a bunch of other cool retail, eatery, drinkery establishments.
Hungry's inventory of carefully curated used vinyl is of high quality; it's not so much a record bin as it is a have for well-cared-for recorded music and such.
Friendly folks, easy to loiter and dig through and you can drop your used options on a TT to check it before buying.
All hail the return of vinyl and the people/shops who keep them safe for us!
