I have very challenging hair to cut--curly/wavy and like 3 standard deviations of thick. Few hair stylists are up to the task, but Maja absolutely was! She gave me long well-blended layers and used a special thinning technique, that took some bulk out, without being noticeable. She really understands hair, and can cut any type, including curly, wavy, and challenging hair. She's also super-nice and fun to talk to. As a bonus, her shampoo chair has a built-in pad, and doesn't aggravate my old whiplash injury like most salon shampoos. Highly recommended!

My hair has always been notoriously difficult to cut and style, but Maja Whitesell completely nails it every single time. I just had a general idea of what I wanted (to beat the summer heat) and she went above and beyond my expectations. She's also the absolute sweetest soul! I cannot give her enough high praise. Trust me, she's the best in the biz.
