Angela Tanigawa did such a great job on my hair, I'm in love!! Usually when I go into a salon such as Fantastic Sams or my usual, Super Cuts, I don't expect anything spectacular, just doing the job. But I feel like I hit the jackpot with Angela. She took her time cutting and coloring my hair. She even added a little extra color in some places on my head that would usually cost the price of a full head highlight, rather than the partial I got. She was friendly, funny and compassionate and made sure to get the finishing touches done. I could tell she really cares about how her work looks on other people because she made sure my hair looked absolutely perfect before I left the solon. Thank you so much, Angela! I will definitely be coming back. If you get your hair cut here, I recommend requesting her!
Asked to show a picture and was clear of what I wanted and was told she could do it. I cut my own bangs, but very little was cut and it wasn’t a lost cause. Used a feathering tool on already cut bangs?! So now there’s awkward short pieces. Asked for a straight bob cut and she still cut layers in and there were still long strands when I went home. Maybe a salon for older people who ask for the same haircut everytime and not for younger people. ☹️
I needed a hair cut desperately. My last cut was December 2019 and it is August 2020. As much as I don't mind spending money on my hair, my cut isn't particularly difficult. I just like one length with some long face framing pieces. I was honestly tired of getting charged $50-65 for a high end salon cut even though it's not a technical or challenging cut. I wasn't sure if they could fit me in as a walk-in but luckily they could. I wish I caught the name of the hair stylist I was paired with. She was super sweet, and although there was a small language barrier. She understood what I wanted and got to cutting. She did a great job! Everything is even and my hair looks and feels so much healthier. I thanked her and went to the register to be rung up; $25 bucks! Awesome price, I was so stoked I tipped her 50%. Still cheaper and just as good of a cut as high end salons. I can't say how she would do on more technical or advanced cuts, but for ladies looking for simple cuts this is a great option.
