I comissioned Eric to build a dry bar in my front room. I submitted initial drawings of what I wanted, he came out for a consultation and within a week came back with his concept. After some collaboration we settled on a design. I was able to find a source for the lights and he was amicable to use my selected product. The drawers are expertly done, all soft close, and the end cabinet doors swing up to account for the lounge chairs when they arrive. The entire bar is solid mahogany. If you want your dream to come true you need to hire Dream Builders! Eric worked with me on ideas for my bedroom door and closet door. He was upfront with me and honest. He explained what would work and what wouldn't work and why. I liked that. He has endless energy, which I think is refreshing. Other contractors I've interviewed, or used didn't seem to care, or they where just collecting a pay check with no sense of pride. Eric takes pride in his work and it shows! What is more, he enjoys making his customers happy. He was always asking for my opinion. The closet door and bedroom door are a work of art! Dream Builders are the best in Hawaii!
I would recommend Dream Builders to anyone needing custom carpentry. Eric's expertise, workmanship, attention to detail, and quality is extraordinary. He and his team did incredible work in an unbelievable time frame. I was nervous about diving into another project here on island based on poor past experiences and couldn't be more happy with this experience. I consider Eric and Sandy Ohana.
