Not providing paid federal holidays is ridiculous. Especially when the companies we work with take holidays. So the company you actually work with will not be at work and you can’t work, but you just have to lose money because of it. It’s absurd, and I’d never recommend anyone put themselves in that position in the United States.

I got hurt at the contracted workplace HMSA sales in Honolulu on Dec. 19 and up to now Jan. 14, 2020, I have not heard from their workers comp adjustor representative. Contacted them 3x because my doctor found a need for me to be referred to a specialist and my meds are not approved yet. I missed one day of work, because I was told by their WC compliance agent , Theresa, that she is approving medical treatment for that day (Dec.23). I was already getting ready for work that day WHEN SHE CALLED. IF SHE DID NOT TELL ME OF THE APPROVAL I WOULDNT HAVE GONE TO CONCENTRA URGENT CARE and miss one day and never got paid. I was not informed that during an OSHA training session that they would not validate parking. The total cost was around $50. Poor communication and unprofessional attitude along with banter heard in the waiting room displays the ineptitude to handle and represent clients one agent criticized repeatedly during the initial placement. Would not recommend.
