This is our absolute favorite place to eat in Hilo. The prices are seriously amazing and the food is the best. The breakfast bentos, musubi, kalua pork, laulau plates and the freshest poke made your way. What's not to love other than the parking, but that keeps it from getting too busy. Also wish they were open on weekends. LOVE this place

If you like poke and are taking a flight out from Hilo Airport, and want one last poke bowl, you can get a real good one from this local no frills takeout joint. Poke is fresh and you can help yourself with toppings. Parking is a bit challenging. There are 3 spaces in the front but service is fast so cars are constantly coming and going. The signage for the restaurant is extremely faded. Think the locals know about it but it makes it harder for tourists to find it.

Amazing quality food, 5/5 would recommend trying it, was confused when I walked in since it is a no-frills place, but the quality of the ingredients is top notch, and it's cheap, you season the food yourself with some fresh ingredients. Was handed a large container of rice and a lot of raw tuna cubes, they were amazing and I can't add a picture because I ate it all before I remembered to take a picture. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Parking is small so get their early! It's the few spots in front of the building.
